Local Lodge 837B Vice President

 

Bruce Darrough

837B Lodge Vice President (Representative) Bruce Darrough has served as the past Secretary Treasurer of LL 837A and 837B. Past; Grand Lodge Delegate, Shop Steward, Safety Committee member, PAC Chairmen and Member, and Local Lodge and District Lodge Auditor. As a Committee member to the Guide Dogs, Entertainment, and various other Local and District committees. Bruce has also served as the Lodge picnic Coordinator for the last few years. 

In addition to his union duties, Bruce has spent the past 30 years as a Quality Assurance Inspector at The Boeing Company and is serving as the State Representative representing the 75th District in the Missouri House of Representatives. 

He has also served as a past Director for the Conservation Federation of Missouri at St. Louis, as past Director on the Boeing Employees Community Charity Board and past Director on the United Way Board of Directors. 

A 1971 graduate of Ritenour High School, Bruce attended Washington University and received an associate’s degree from ITT Bailey Technical School in 1973 as an Auto/Diesel Technician. 

Born July 30, 1953, in St. Louis, Bruce lives in Florissant Missouri. 

Representative Bruce Darrough, a Moderate Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 75) in the Missouri House of Representatives.  He was elected to the House in November 2002 and again in 2004.  Representative Darrough serves on the House Crime Prevention and Public Safety Committee, the Small Business Committee and serves as the minority party ranking member on the Conservation and Natural Resources Committee.  Representative Darrough also serves on the Missouri Film Commission and has been appointed to the House Special Committee on General Laws. Representative Darrough has been a stanch supporter of Labor and Unionism.
